Iluka house is a fully renovated holiday house only 750 metres from the front (bay) beach at Rye. The house is centrally located being a short 5-10minute walk to Safeway and the local shops. The Rye Yacht Club is at the end of the street and also the best pizza restaurant in Rye, all only a short walk away.

The house comprises 3 bedrooms, one with a queen bed one with a double, and a room with one set of bunks and two single beds which is off the rumpus room and ideal for children. All the bedrooms have polished floor boards as does the lounge room and kitchen meals area. A ducted gas wall furnace keeps the house cosy all year round. The kitchen has a stainless steel stove top and range hood and a fan forced oven. With a dishwasher and solid timber benches and cupboards it is ideal for entertaining. The table seats 8 people.

The lounge room is welcoming at night with new comfortable furniture, TV and DVD.
The rumpus room is a huge slate tiled area with a piano, soccer game table, childrens pool table, the second T.V and video. The french doors at the back of this room lead out onto the Tuscan Style entertaining area. There is an outdoor setting for 8 people and a 4 burner gas b.b.q. With flood lights outside this is a wonderful entertaining area. There is also an undercover outdoor seating area which captures the afternoon sun.

Of course for the children there is a cubby house with blackboard, stove, sink and many toys. There is also a slide and swing to keep them entertained. We welcome people who wish to stay for only one night at a cost of $360.00 which includes linen for two people.

Location

The house is only 750metres to the front beach, Yacht club, Restaurants and about 1 kilometre to Safeway. With Moonah Links and Peninsula hot Springs at the end of the street it is convenient for the golf enthusiast. There is a biketrack which runs along the foreshore not to mention the indoor rollerblading, minigolf, and picture theatres, ten pin bowling and indoor pool in Rosebud.

We are approx. a 5 minute car drive to a patrolled back beach and a ten minute car drive to the cafes and restaurants in Sorrento.

Arthurs Seat Chairlift, cape Schank, wineries, maze, and markets are a 15 minute drive away.

The Mornington Peninsula with its Bay Play activites and Festivals has something to offer the whole family all year round.
