Our guests enjoy the peace of living in the bush. They wake every morning to the singing of the kookaburras and parrots in the tall Jarrah trees surroung the cottage. The evenings see the nearby football oval filled with kangaroos grazing on the lush green grass. Children will enjoy an evening walk to peek at them grazing just as the sun begins to set or shortly after. This is a nature holiday with all of the comforts of home.

Jarrah Bush Cottage is near to cafes, winetasting cellars and restaurants in the Perth hills. It is set amongst the ancient Jarrah and Redgum forests of the Australian bush. A playground is only 1 minute walk away.The cottage is serviced by a natural bore 90 feet underground. No chlorine taste. No need for your water bottles!

Jarrah Bush is within a stone's throw of the famous Karragullen apple and stone fruit orchards exporting to markets overseas, with golfing near to the Araluen International Golf Course. A delightful fully stocked deli, petrol station and liquour store is only two minutes walk away. The house is suited for 6-8 adults/children or a family in a single booking as a party or group. A bunkbed out on the enclosed patio can sleep two children.

COUPLES /INDIVIDUAL RETREAT Weekend (Fri-Sat nights late checkout Sunday 3pm2 NIGHTS) or mid-week (Mon-Wed nights late check out Thursday 3pmTHREE NIGHTS).
Book a weekend retreat (two nights) or three nights midweek for you and your partner. Exclusive to couple only booking, or individuals not group booking. This is your time.

Pensioners can make a group booking of 3- 6 people and share the cost for a lovely weekend or week in the bush. Cards ONLY accepted.

How to get there!

One approach is from Welshpool Road to T/Junction at the top of the hill- (near Kalamunda) turn right onto Canning Road and then follow the highway signs toward the Brookton Highway. Turn left at the Karragullen Liquor Celebrations store and go to the end of Old Station Road then turn right onto Saunders Way. The house is on the right hand side with a picket fence gate and high walled fence.

Another approach is from the Brookton Highway /Albany Highway lights - just past the Kelmscott Village - up Brookton Highway going through Roleystone and continuing out of Roleystone until you see a GULL service station on the LEFT . Turn LEFT into Canning Road and follow this for about half a kilometre until you come to the Celebrations Liquor store. Turn RIGHT at the Karragullen store and go to the end of Old Station Road then turn right onto Saunders Way. The house is on the right hand side with a picket fence gate and high walled fence.
