A nice town in Victoria made famous by the Gold Rush. You will find historical buildings here and many places of interest. Take a ride on the tram while you are here in Bendigo.

Country town (although some call it a city now) with some great buildings to photograph. other than that not a lot to do in the area.
Shopping and restaurants aplenty. ANd if Wine and vineyards are your thing, then you wont\' be short of somewhere to stop and enjoy.

Bendigo is a centralized rural town in victoria. it is steeped in history and is part of the golden triangle from when gold was discovered in the 1800\'s

Bendigo\'s architectural history is evident throughout the city- lacework verandahs, the Shamrock Hotel and the Sacred Heart Cathedral are fine examples. The Golden Dragon Museum ( and Joss House out further) has a huge display of Chinese artefacts and recalls the importance of the Chinese during Bendigo\'s Gold Rush period. An important town for history buffs.

I was born in Bendigo and have been back for many visits since. It is a very pretty regional town. Steeped in history - especially from the Gold Rush days. Great town.

Bendigo is a Inland Country Victoria city. It has all the charm of a established country town. Bendigo is most well known for its historical gold mining. Today it is a thriving regional town. It also still has gold beneath its cities and some mining does happen.
