Blackheath is very high in the Snowy Mountains and a scenic wonderland. Great place for lunch and some of the most stunning views in the mountains.

A great place to visit for the Rhododendron Festival, which we stumbled upon by chance when we went for a drive to the Blue Mountains. Very colourful street parade. Lots of nice little cafe\'s.

Blackheath is ideal for visiting the Blue Mountains with its lookouts over the Grose valley. There are also a number of art exhibitions each year promoting local australian artists.
