A hot town on the way up to Cairns from Brisbane. Lots of Sugar Cane plantations and home of the world famous Bundaberg Rum.

Home of Bundaberg Rum and infamous ocean views. Great place to stop, rest and have a meal on your way down or up the coast highway. Just outside of Bundy are some superb isolated beaches (easily seen from the road so watch what you do there!)

Bundaberg famous for it\'s rum and you can visit the distillery and taste the great ginger beer and sugar cane. you can get a great steak here, but if your not a fanatic for the above things I probably wouldn\'t bother

BUNDABERG is about 400km north of Brisbane. It looks a bit worn out but I like it there. Wide roads, big yards with the pretty Queensland style houses. It is a home of Bundaberg Rum, but if you are not Rum lover you can hit the beaches, which are amazing. Go to Elliott Heads, which is nearby. It is a beautiful beach with stunning mixture of volcanic rocks and white sands.

Bundaberg apart from the rum is famous for the Mon Repos Turtle Breeding Grounds and the gateway to Lady Musgrave Island which is part of the southern bit of the Great Barrier Reef
