If you go to Tassie, you MUST visit Cradle Mountain. It\'s the jewel in the crown. I just wish we could have afforded to stay at the lodge as it looks amazing. The lake is just magnificent. Bushwalks for all levels of fitness, or not as the case may be. Truly spectacular, and I will forever now think of Cradle Mountain as the place little Bindi Irwin learnt of her Father\'s death. Very fitting really, she was in one of the world\'s most magnificently larger than life amazing natural places at the time.

I am not much of a mountain lover but Cradle Mountain is very impressive. Situated almost at the middle of Tasmania, it\'s a really good place if you like hiking. The best trout fishing in lake Arthur.

A very spectacular destination for the experienced bush walker through to the arm chair nature lover. Make sure you at least attmept to get to the peak or walk around the lake. Cradle Mountian lodge is a great place to base you exploring from.
