A great place to see how some Sydney siders live. There are some great restuarants and bars here - let me ask you, how many places have you been to that have unisex toilets? Its worth a visit for that alone! But remember, just because \'she\' is wearing female clothing doesn\'t mean she is a lady...

Heaps always going on here, from cafes on Victoria St to restaurants like Pello on Stanley St and the clubs of Oxford St

Darlinghurst is great for its nightclubs, bars, restaurants and cafes. It is very close to the Sydney CBD. Oxford St is where the Gay Mardi Gras is held.

This place never stops. There are lots of showy people here and gay bars too.. but gee it is fun!

Plenty of places to eat, drink, shop and dine. This is where it all happens and is well worth a visit whilst in Sydney. Personally I prefer bargains at Paddy\'s market, but the upmarket boutiques alongside retro gear has its appeal too. As always with sydney, some great pubs around here too. it\'s a very HAPPY place.

Another very colourful part of Sydney. Oxford Street is a great place to visit. Lots of bars, clubs and dining places. You have to try Burgerman at Darlinghurst for the best burgers and shakes in town.

I like darlinghurst it\'s a really mishmash, you have your arty types, gay and lesibans, young families allsorts. Not a big fan of the night life but I\'m not one for walking around in leather chaps, there are some of the best restaurants and cafes in sydney.

A cool, colourful neighbourhood in inner Sydney, Darlinghurst hosts some great restaurants, cafes, bars and nightclubs and the many wonders of Oxford St.

Always a colourful part of Sydney to visit. A mix of the ecclectic style. Some good eateries, interesting assortment of people and small, interesting shops

The world knows it\'s the home of the colourful Oxford Street. By day check out the boutiques, bookshops, art galleries and music stores whilst at night clubs, bars and live music.

Darlinghurst is plentiful. Restaurants, pubs, cafes and personality. Plenty of different people living in harmony and fairly central so a nice place to stay. Does have it\'s seedy side.

If Sydney was a person, then Darlinghurst is it\'s soul. Here the alternative scene, gay and lesbian nightclubs, great restaurants are side-by-side. Not just alongside Oxford Street but the side streets are a hidden treasure.
