You can\'t really go wrong with any of the islands in this region - all are breathtaking, with a variety of accommodations to suit all budgets. Day trips are a must - Whitehaven beach is incredible. Snorkelling and scuba diving are also mandatories for those who want to see what the reef is really all about, and that\'s below the water.

I\'ll never forget coming around the bend on the boat and seeing an island with highrises. iI just doesn\'t look nor seem right. Hamilton staff aren\'t the friendliest but the beaches are nice and the food is divine. Worth a night or two\'s stay if you can afford the opulence and can\'t afford Brampton Island. Hamilton is way too commercial for me.

It weird seeing high rises on an Island in the middle of nowhere and I can see the pros and cons, but it\'s not for me. Having said that there is a great atmosphere as it is Holiday world, so just come here relax and have a great beach holiday.

Heaps better than I thought. Great views from almost everywhere on the island. Easy to get around on the free island bus. Restaurants are expensive but you can imagine why as it must cost a bomb to keep everything running like clockwork. Really pleasantly surprised. Great for families. You\'d probably go mad for longer than 4 days.

One of the most exclusive islands you can visit in Australia but the place is not cheap at all. It is expensive to get there and you\'ll spend a fair bit of money too

The funniest little place, where most people opt for golf cart over car. Laid back with money. Go sailing, or out on a boat for some great views back to the island, and the least secure airport in Australia!
