Reviews of Hamilton VIC
Rating: 3 out of 5
Trevor - February 2004
Hamilton is a good centre from which to explore Portland, Warnambool and Port Fairy. It has the Big Woolbales Complex if you want to know about the history of wool and there are tours conducted by HEAL to discover how to care for the land. Mt Eccles with its crater lake is an interesting trip.

Major town which is pretty central for all the western district in Victoria. Lots of history here.

Hamilton in Brisbane lies the racing center of two big race tracks. Racecourse Road itself is filled with good restaurants. A nice suburb where the main road of Kingsford Smith Drive stretches along the river for a good (short) drive.

Good size town to use as a base to visit the local areas. Not bad to get to Grampains.
