Hunter Valley is situated in the north of Sydney and is predominantly rural with a number of farming properties. Hunter Valley is mainly famous for tis vineyards and horse breeding and racing

If you love wine, Hunter Valley is a must go destination. Many vineyards with all types of wine so you can drink all day. Best to sign up for a tour so you don\'t have to drive.

Hunter Valley has so many wineries, you can\'t be disappointed. From the name brands that are owned by the large beverage companies to boutique wineries - there is a winery for all palates.

Nead I say any more than wine, also try out the variety of Olive oil producers. Either a day trip from Sydney, but recommend make it a long weekend!

Great for a long weekend away, wine tasting is of course the highlight, followed closely by cheese and olive oil tasting. Try a coffee by the fire at Hungerford Hill or a pricy but divine meal at Roberts restaurant at Peppertree Winery, but if in winter ask for a table by the fire. Always book ahead for your accommodation and dinner - the Hunter gets very busy.

Great place to wine tasting. I have been there a few times and every time I seem to find a new vineyard. Better to go in the winter timer, summers are too hot up there.
