Jenolan Caves mustbe the most famous in Australia and are open daily. They really are impressive especially with the lighting and the knoweldge of the tour guides. Big kids and little kids will love them.

You cant visit the Blue Mountains without even just driving down to the caves but try devoting a whole day if you ar going to do them seriously

Jenolan caves was a fantastic experience with lots of diffused lighting and etherical music. However it seems to be becoming a bit commercialised and care needs to be taken to protect it It seems to be a bit orientated towards money more than service to the tourist industry.

Visited the caves this year as part of a family holiday. We went in the winter time and it was freezing. You definately need a couple of days here to explore all of the caves and you need to get there early in the morning to be guaranteed a spot on one of the many tours. It doesn\'t matter if you do the tour at nighttime or daytime as it all looks the same on the inside. Some of the stair climbing buggers you but it is well worth the walk. Try to get a package deal with the tours cause it can end up very expensive if you book tours separately.

You need to take a whole day for the caves if you really want to do them justice as the tour times are a bit funny. The caves are well worth it though.

Awesome. We stayed at Oberon which was great too. The caves were better than expected and the guides were knowledgeable and informative.

Best times to visit are late spring and throughout autumn.

Going as a kid was cool, suggest that you go on the small tours as this gives a bit of a personal touch.

Spot on about going there early so you may be able to catch 2 caves as a better package deal - but they are set at scheduled times throughout the day, so expect to spend some time lazying about and potentially spending $ to boost the local tourism $. On a regular basis, there are musical performances in the caves as well making use of the acoustics in the cave. I\'m yet to go for one, at least it\'s not too far off from Sydney.

Worth the trip, can be done in a day from Sydney but take care of narrow, windey roads. The Caves are worth the drive, don\'t do more than 2 in day as can get a bit much. Also take a look around Caves House while there.

The caves a super cool. You can take tours with a tour guide. There are many caves with different sizes, the big ones are a must see.
