First impression wasn\'t too great, dirty looking town with untidy people. Gold field tours are good but overall don\'t stay too long as it is expensive.

Kalgoorlie is the Wild Wild West! Home of mining operations (mainly gold), it has that frontier feel about it. Highlight is Hay St where ladies of the night ply their operation as well as the superpit (the biggest hole/open cut mine in Australia).
