Reviews of Kangaroo Point

The flash area of Brisbane incorporates some fine accommodation and waterfront properties. Worth staying there if you can afford to.

The Kangaroo Point cliffs are spectacular at night all lit up, especially from a Brisbane River cruise. Abseiling the cliff\'s is Kangaroo\'s main attraction. Of course the Bridge Climb is now in full swing although we attribute that to the city rather than the Point. The old TAFE stands overlooking the river as if keeping an eye on us all. Home to lazy commuters and rich city dwellers Kangaroo point is a nice place to visit but I wouldn\'t want to live there.

Waterfront suburb with the million dollar houses. Not much to do down here unless of course, you have your own boat.

Right across the Brisbane River, the park at Holmann Street is perfect for a BBQ or just a simple day in the park, with views of the city and the Story Bridge (which lits up at night). The jazz bar at the corner is also perfect for a bit of music and wine.
