Katoomba is in the mountains west of Sydney. It is spectacular. Echo point is a a great place to go because you are able to get great views of the Jamieson valley and the Three Sisters. The Skyway is worth a trip on for the good views

I love Katoomba. It is located in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney. It can get cold in the winter. A magical place to take in the splendor of the Blue Mountains

Katoomba is the place you stay when going to Blue Mountains. There are so many trails to explore that you could spend a month there. Make sure you bring your camera too, as there are many nice views to take pictures of

Really pretty town in the Blue Mountains. I could not beleive the number of tourists looking at the three sisters. A very good set up here to take full advantage of the view.

Picturesque place with stunning views. I love the cold air and would recommend visiting in winter and getting a hot chocolate from the cafe at teh look out - simply divine.

A really nice town but very cold and windy. You have to visit the 3 sisters rock formation. Awesome views, nice place. Nice restaurants in Katoomba as well.

so easy to get to you can just jump on the train in Sydney CBD and in 2 hours you feel like your in a totally different country. Great hiking and adventure activities. Quaint cottages, some beautiful places to stay, good afternoon tea and some fabulous restaurants all so close to Sydney. You could even do it in a day.

Some good cafes and restaurants and quaint old buildings. See the Three sisters rock formation and go on the terrifying train, innocently named, The scenic railway. If you are braver, go out on the cable car to view the bush and the three sisters. If you are fortunate to be there in a cold winter, Katoomba is magic with a dusting of snow

Good place to base yourself to explore the bush walking trails. There are a couple of restuarants and pubs to provide entertainment in the evenings.

Katoomba is famous for the 3 Sisters. The best thing to do and experience the Australian Bush is to walk down the Giant Staircase (800+ steps) to the valley below and walk to the Scenic Railway. It\'s about an hour and a half maximum. Great place for couples or take your overseas tourist.

It\'s beautiful whenever you go, the air so fresh and sweet you will want to bottle it. Lots of local attractions, don\'t try to do it in one day.

The 3 sisters are nice to look at from afar. Be prepared to walk heaps of steps if you want to get closer. It\'s a good hike though.

This area is so charming, but COLD all year round! There are the 3 Sisters but there are also great art galleries and good place for some bed and breakfast weekends.

Great for hiking. You can find stunning views from different areas in the Blue mountains. I went hiking to different points and found some waterfalls too
