Worth being in town for the Town Crier midweek. The kids get a thrill from it. Other than that Maryborough has some shops that aren\'t available in Hervey Bay.

Little town about 300km north of Brisbane, just before Hervey Bay. Compared to Hervey Bay Maryborough is small and old, much more quainter.

Maryborough has lovely heritage Queenslander buildings. It is also close to Hervey Bay, but with the growth of Queensland you can find most major facilities in both towns.
