Had Xmas & New Year in Mildura for something different - & loved it. I live in stage 4 water restrictions so it was just a joy to see green grass & beautiful gardens & parks - & I\'m not even into gardens!! Had all of the major shops so we got to take advantage of the Boxing Day sales! Great restaurants & bars too. Make sure you take a hot air balloon ride over the city, it was just awesome.

Mildura is hot!.. Which is why Oranges and other australian citris fruit is grown here. Pretty cool place too.. do some day trips from here to other towns along the murray

Mildura has sunny winters and is on the banks of the Murray river. Cruise on a paddle steamer from the Wharf or dine at one of Stefano\'s restaurants.

It\'s a long way from anywhere but is really pretty and has suprisingly good food and bars. Excellent water skiing.

Mildura is hot! when I was there it was 48c and got as low as 37c at 5AM. Lots to see and lots to do. Make sure you visit Lake Mungo in NSW and go for a cruise on a paddle steamer on the Murray River.
