Palm Cove is a expensive suburb north of Cairns. It has a few shops and has some wonderful accomodation. Bali styled architecture and expensive properties. Nice place.

I like Palm Cove. It is a quiet little spot, with just a few shops. The real estate around there is expensive and so it has a trendy feel to Palm Cove. It can be very hot in the summer as all of North Queensland is.

A smaller more beautiful version of Port Douglas, and great for families with a gentle coastline and lots of local facilities

The darling of the Cairn\'s beaches Palm Cove has really come into it\'s own. Superb resorts, beach activities, the long jetty is perfect for romantic strolls, many a wedding has taken place on the Palm Cove Beach. If in Cairns, a MUST see. Not a lot of fanfare nor shops or cafes, but enough that you won\'t feel you\'ve missed out.

A beautiful get away, smallish but perfectly formed great beaches and of course restaurants. Oh and get your self a spa treatment because you\'re worth it!

A quiet but beautiful location for couples looking for romance or families looking to escape to the beach. It is also close to many other TNQ attractions.

Spent our honeymoon here and can\'t recommend it enough! Beautiful, quiet, upmarket spot. Really only hotels along the waterfront and it\'s all pretty quiet. Great launching pad to explore the reef and all the other great attractions in this part of the world.

A great honeymoon destination. A lot quieter than Prot Douglas but still a great variety of accommodation and restaurants. Beautiful child friendly beach.

I loved this place! Absolutely stunning beach and area. Small wee town but so relaxing and friendly locals. Would definitely recommend.

Palm Cove is worth the extra 20 min up from Cairns, the beach is beautiful and the food excellent. Close enough to Cairns for the day trip but far enough away not to be overrun.
