Spectacular scenery! The Hunter Valley region has some of the nicest views I\'ve seen. Pokoblin itself is very picturesque with vineyards and wide open spaces. Lots of luxurious places to stay, lots of wine to taste! Arts and crafts also abound. Mobile phone coverage was spotty which, for a phone-addict like me, was both a curse and a blessing - no coverage = no hassles, but how could I phone home to tell my family what they were missing out on?

Pokolbin area is in the Hunter Valley and usually where people stay up there. There are many very nice hotels it all depends on how much money you want to spend.

Centre of the Hunter Valley wine region where there are many wineries within walking distance. Plenty of quality accommodation and only a short drive from Sydney.
