Reviews of Port Augusta
Rating: 6 out of 5
Bianca - October 2006
The back streets are quite confusing, but quite a neat town these days. Wouldn\'t want to stay very long, but quite nice for a stop over! Had a bad reputation for years but I really don\'t think its bad at all.

Port Augusta is a bit more than 3 hours drive from Adelaide. There are lots of Aborigines who still live there. It gets really hot in summer.

Port Agusta is a the head of the Spencer Gulf. It is the gateway to the Flinders Ranges, the government prohibited area of Woomera. There is great fishing and also heavy industry. It is a regional city. There is a great Aboriginal Cultural centre there.
