The Folk Museum and Pioneer settlement in Swan Hill shows colonial life from the last century as well as the local Aboriginal culture in a professional and well presented manner. The cruises on the Murray River and a visit to the Tyntyndyer Homestead are worth the effort. Overall a worthwhile place to visit and spend some time exploring the area.

Swan Hill is surrounded by fields of citrus fruits and grapes. The Murray River is a major attraction in town, offering paddle steamer cruises and other water activities along a river that is attractively lined with a number of shady parks. One of the most popular tourist attractions in town is the Pioneer Settlement, situated at the junction of the Murray and Little Murray Rivers.

Swan Hill has some amazing history and visting all the touristy places here is a must. Also being on the Murray go for a trip down it on one of the old paddle steamers

Swan Hill is a country town in the wheat farming district of North West Victoria. It is a city in the Murray Valley area. Swan Hill services the Murray Valley area and the Riverina area in NSW. There are a lot of wheat farms, and fruit farms. Great if you want to do a spot of fruit picking. In the summer it is great for relaxing and fishing.
