Visited here whilst at uni. 1 hours south from Sydney. Beautiful beaches and a friendly feel. Worth a day trip from Sydney.

Just 1 hour south of Sydney, a nice city with cool beaches and the mountains in the background. Good shopping and OK restaurants.

Great town about 60 mins south of Sydney. Liked the cafes in the city. The Novotel was a really good hotel I stayed in.

Wollongong is only 1/2 hour from my place so we always come down here for drives. We always come down this way for camping during the warmer months. Great spot to have lunch up near the lighthouse or just to park your car and take in the view. They have great events at Win Stadium and lots of nice restaurants and eateries.

Wollongong is a very pretty city with great views from the mountaintop, great beaches, shoppings good, great restaurants with entertainment like Mount Kembla pub. I will be visiting there on a regular basis.

Maybe I needed to spend more time here? The beach was lovely but the general town seemed a little run down. That big mill would detract from enjoying the scenery for me

A city offering adventure sports, there are also cultivated cultural attractions and natural scenery and bushland.

Wollongong is a major city south of Sydney. It is a coastal city. It is a good place to then explore the Southern coastline of NSW.
